Sandbox

Isolated Environment for Threat Analysis

What is a Sandbox?

A Sandbox is an isolated environment used to safely execute and analyze potentially malicious code without impacting production systems. It allows security teams to observe behavior in a controlled setting.

Sandboxes are commonly used in Malware analysis and integrated into solutions such as Email Security Gateway (ESG), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), and threat intelligence platforms.

What is a Sandbox used for?

Sandboxes are used to detect unknown threats, including Zero Day Vulnerability exploits and advanced Malware. They help identify Indicators of Attack (IOA) and Indicators of Compromise (IOC).

Organizations use sandboxing to improve threat detection, support Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR), and strengthen overall Security Posture.
