BIMI Record (Brand Indicators for Message Identification)

Visual Email Trust Verification

What is a BIMI Record?

A BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification) Record is an email authentication standard that allows organizations to display their verified brand logo next to emails in supported mail clients. It builds on existing email authentication mechanisms such as DMARC, DKIM, and SPF.

Organizations implement BIMI alongside DMARC enforcement to strengthen Email Security Gateway (ESG) effectiveness and improve overall Security Posture.
