Cyber Attack Vectors

Definition

What are Attack Vectors?

Attack Vectors are the pathways through which attackers infiltrate computer systems, networks, or data to carry out cyber attacks, such as through Email, BYOD (Bring Your Own Device), Web, and more.

Understanding the different vectors helps in developing security strategies, but it’s important to remember that identifying the pathways is only the beginning, as an attacker can implement numerous attack methods through each vector.
