MITRE D3FEND is a cyber security framework designed by MITRE to help defenders better understand, evaluate, and implement defense techniques against cyber threats.

Built as a complementary resource to the MITRE ATT&CK framework, which focuses on attacker tactics and techniques, MITRE D3FEND maps defensive countermeasures to known adversarial actions.

D3FEND includes techniques like network segmentation, endpoint hardening, malware analysis and more.
