Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE)

What is a CVE?

CVE is a program used for reporting security vulnerabilities and exposures in software and computer systems.

Each vulnerability in the CVE protocol is assigned a unique identifier, allowing for precise identification and tracking of vulnerabilities and solutions for them.

Each vulnerability is provided with details such as a description of the vulnerability, possible implications, CVSS score, and information about available fixes (such as patching), helping in prioritizing and systematically addressing the issues.
